The AU Digital organization accelerates digital capabilities through a horizontal, reusable and industry-rich Analytics and AI platform, combining Industrial IoT, system integration, Generative AI, predictive modelling and transformative analytics applications and solutions.

In this role, you will report to the Technology Principal Product Manager, AU Digital. As a Technology Product Manager – AU Digital, you will own the end-to-end product management and functionality of flagship AU Digital products and components.

You will work closely with global stakeholders, including Business Unit teams, Digital Business Unit Leads, Development, User Experience, Quality Engineering, Documentation teams and end customers. You will represent the voice of the customer by maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring development teams focus on initiatives that maximize business value and deliver meaningful customer outcomes.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Define product vision and strategy: Develop, communicate and drive the product vision, strategy and roadmap for AU Digital products and components. Align business priorities, customer needs and technology capabilities to ensure stakeholders and development teams work toward common objectives.
  • Own product requirements and backlog: Collaborate with customers, business units, Digital Solution Engineering and other stakeholders to identify requirements and solution gaps. Translate business needs into functional specifications, value drivers, user stories and an appropriately prioritized product backlog.
  • Drive end-to-end product delivery: Work closely with development, UX and Quality Engineering teams to ensure a clear understanding of customer use cases and end-to-end functionality. Take ownership of committed releases, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery while maintaining agility to address evolving customer and market needs.
  • Drive product adoption and business value: Partner with marketing, documentation and key business stakeholders to strengthen the product value proposition, develop customer-facing and pre-sales collateral, support go-to-market activities and contribute to the successful adoption and commercial growth of ABB’s digital products and solutions.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software or digital product management, with proven experience managing products across the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • MBA from an accredited two-year university, preferably complemented by a technical or engineering background.
  • Strong experience in Industrial IoT, digitalization, enterprise software or analytics platforms, with exposure to technologies such as Azure IoT services, digital twins and IIoT-based analytics solutions.
  • Proven experience in software requirements management, including translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, product backlogs and integrated product roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience in product strategy, product conceptualization, roadmap development, go-to-market planning and successful release of digital or software products and services.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, networking and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across customers, business units and cross-functional teams in a complex global environment.
  • Preferred experience in asset-intensive industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power Generation, Metals & Mining, Paper & Pulp, Marine or Ports, along with excellent presentation skills, fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally as required.
