About the Team
The Fleet Growth team is responsible for building and scaling DoorDash’s Dasher supply to ensure healthy, reliable marketplace performance across all markets and verticals. Our goal is to grow the fleet with precision balancing speed, quality, and cost efficiency — so we can consistently meet consumer demand while maintaining a high-quality Dasher experience.
We operate at the intersection of growth, marketplace economics, and logistics. That means forecasting supply needs, diagnosing market-level headwinds, and deploying the right acquisition and incentive strategies to close gaps before they impact delivery quality or reliability.
As our marketplace evolves, so does our playbook. We continuously expand our acquisition toolkit, optimize the efficiency of existing levers, and run experiments to unlock new pockets of growth.
Ultimately, our team ensures that every market has the right supply, at the right time, at the right cost — enabling DoorDash to deliver faster and better for customers while supporting Dashers in achieving their financial goals.
About the Role
This role supports Dasher acquisition strategy, forecasting, and performance management across markets. You will help ensure we meet supply goals efficiently by analyzing data, improving incentive programs, and guiding investment decisions.
A key part of this role is owning our Dasher referrals program — including forecasting, experimentation, and performance tracking — while partnering closely with Finance, Strategy & Ops and Analytics.
The role requires comfort operating in ambiguity and offers high visibility with meaningful business impact.
You will report to the Manager, Dasher Fleet Growth Strategy within the Marketing organization.

- Drive Business Diagnostics & Market Insights: Investigate weekly performance variance and conduct deep, ad hoc analyses on acquisition, supply-demand balance, incentive efficiency, and market-level dynamics. This requires the ability to translate complex datasets into clear executive-ready narratives with actionable recommendations and proactively surface emerging risks and opportunities that may impact supply.
- Serve as the end-to-end owner of the Dasher referrals acquisition channel: Lead forecasting, incentive strategy, and weekly spend allocation. Proactively identify volatility, risks, or structural inefficiencies.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner across Analytics, Product, Strategy & Ops, and Finance to align on targets, pacing, and roadmap priorities. Drive clarity and alignment on trade-offs to enable disciplined decision-making.
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 2+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, consulting, technology, marketing, finance, or operations.
- You are comfortable working with data, including writing SQL queries and building models in Excel or Google Sheets.
- You have experience analyzing experiments or performance tests and translating results into recommendations.
- You communicate clearly and can explain complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You are organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
