An opening currently exists for a FIELD SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE – THIRD CLASS. This position will work a TUESDAY through SATURDAY schedule. Location – Springfield, PA – Meter Setting
Qualifications:
The applicant selected to fill this position will be required to:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Preferred that the candidate be a licensed Journeyman or apprentice plumber.
- Must have mechanical aptitude for the installation, repair & replacement of meters and meter related materials ranging in size from 5/8" through 2" in diameter.
- Have the mathematical background to interpret meter readings and analyze consumption.
- Must have knowledge of the Company's and OSHA's safety regulations.
- Must be able to read and interpret pipeline / construction plans as it specifically relates to Meter Operations.
- Must be capable of using a computer / tablet and have working knowledge of Service Link, Aqua GIS, AIMS, AMRA, Banner and Microsoft Office.
- Be physically capable of lifting up to 85 lbs.
- Must be available for overtime when needed, as well as work after scheduled hours, holidays and weekends.
- Perform all other tasks or special functions as directed by supervisor.
The hourly rate of pay is $38.99 ## per hour.
All employees hired or entering the bargaining unit on or after December 15, 2022, will receive four dollars ($4.00) per hour less than the classification wage rate. The wage reduction will be returned in one dollar ($1.00) increases once a year over a four (4) year period. Employee will receive annual contract increases.
A written and field exam may be given.
