The Supply Chain Analyst leverages data analytics to improve service levels, optimize costs, and ensure on-time delivery. This role supports the logistics, planning, and sourcing teams by building reports and analyzing performance data to ensure that inventory levels across the network are appropriate, sourcing contracts are optimal, and logistics’ execution balances service and cost needs. Reporting to the Director of Sourcing & Logistics, this position collaborates across Operations (Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Warehousing) and with external third-parties (suppliers, carriers, 3rd party warehouses). The role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data & Analytics:
- Source, scrub, and join data sets to enhance reporting capabilities
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor cost and service levels
- Quantify impact of supply chain initiatives
- Provide insights and recommendations
Logistics & Execution:
- Manage Transportation Management System activities
- Monitor shipments and resolve delivery risks
- Develop shipping schedules with cross-functional teams
- Ensure accuracy of inventory levels across network
- Communicate with carriers to ensure performance
Supplier & Procurement Support:
- Support RFP/RFQ processes
- Track supplier KPIs and performance
- Support monthly commodity scorecard meetings
- Assist in supplier risk assessments
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve service and reduce costs
- Prioritize projects with leadership
- Support reporting enhancements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Analytics or related field preferred)
- 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or analytics
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations
- Experience with SAP, SQL, Tableau, or TMS systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to travel up to 10%
