Pay: $15.25 per hour
Start Date: Mid-May with positions available throughout the season
Seasonal: Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year.
Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Do you have a knack for being clean and tidy? Come join Snowshoe Mountain resort! The custodial position removes solid waste from Snowshoe Village and business units on a daily basis, monitors Snowshoe compactors, and operates Snowshoe's recycle program for all recyclable material and hazardous waste.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect and maintain Snowshoe compactors, reporting issues promptly.
Ensure compactors are operational, clean, and emptied as needed.
Keep compactor areas and village trash cans clean and organized.
Manage trash and recycling collection, including special recyclables.
Coordinate with Pocahontas Recycle and handle special waste needs.
Report equipment defects, maintain cleanliness, and complete reports.
Arrive on time, wear appropriate attire, and participate in training.
Contribute to team efforts and achieve results as directed.
Driving:
Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
Preferred Experience:
Ability to move a pull trailer attached to a pick up
Ability to operate a standard shift truck
Knowledge of Snowshoe Mountain and location of departments is helpful
