Managing Principal / Director – Cyber & Operational Resilience

Lead large-scale cyber and operational resilience transformation across the financial services industry
The Role
Capco is seeking experienced Managing Principals / Directors to join our Cyber & Operational Resilience capability. In this senior leadership role, you will act as a strategic advisor and delivery lead, partnering with top-tier financial institutions to design and implement end-to-end resilience solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping client strategy, leading complex programmes, and driving growth across our Risk practice.
What You’ll Do
- Lead large-scale cyber and operational resilience programmes, including regulatory alignment with PRA, DORA, and global frameworks
- Oversee resilience assessments across operational and technology landscapes, including third-party and vendor risk exposure
- Define and implement resilience frameworks, governance models, controls, and reporting mechanisms
- Drive cyber resilience strategy, including cyber posture assessments, security design, and cloud security initiatives
- Lead business development, proposition creation, and client account growth within the Cyber & Resilience domain
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience in cyber risk, operational resilience, and third-party risk within financial services or consulting
- Proven ability to lead complex transformation programmes and engage senior executive stakeholders
- Strong experience in solution development, proposition building, and driving new business opportunities
- Experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing consulting teams
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and practical implementation across resilience frameworks
Bonus Points For
- Experience delivering ITOL & IBS assessments, scenario testing, and resilience embedding programmes
- Background in cyber security design, cloud security, or tooling implementation
- Experience with vendor risk frameworks, supplier chain assessments, and remediation strategies
- Strong track record in thought leadership, client campaigns, and market engagement
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments
