About the role
About Glia
Glia is the #1 Banking AI platform, empowering community and regional financial institutions to create efficiencies, accelerate loan growth, drive deposits, and deliver experiences that win against megabanks and fintechs.
Glia's Banking AI Operating System is a central intelligence layer on top of existing tech stacks, activating an AI workforce of specialized agents that draw from banking data, interaction history, and integrated systems of record. These banking-trained agents automate workflows across voice and digital–from front office to back office–resulting in decreased operational costs and the Universal Banker model.
Trusted by 700+ banks and credit unions for its ironclad security and reliability, Glia delivers the industry’s first contractual no-hallucination guarantee. It’s why Glia customers quickly and confidently put Banking AI to work with measurable results from day one.More information about Glia can be found at glia.com.
The Role
Glia is growing, and we are looking for a proactive and experienced People Operations Specialist to support our global employee experience.
If you are a culture driver who thrives on building a global environment where people can do their best work, we want to meet you.
As the People Operations Specialist, you will support and scale our global processes while providing an excellent employee experience and weaving Glia’s core values throughout the employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Global Lifecycle Management: Own the operational execution of key employee milestones, including onboarding, promotions, internal relocations, and offboarding on a global scale.
Immigration & Mobility: Support our employees through the visa and immigration process, ensuring Glianeers can work where they are needed most with minimal friction.
EOR Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our Employer of Record (EOR) partners in Europe.
Global Onboarding: Partner with the broader People team to oversee the end-to-end onboarding experience, ensuring every new hire—whether remote or in-office—has a seamless and memorable start.
Global Events & Engagement: Lead the planning for global events, team-building offsites, and internal celebrations that keep a distributed workforce connected and engaged.
Workspace Strategy: Oversee the functioning of our physical offices (including Estonia and Europe) and remote support for our North American offices, ensuring all locations are safe, optimized, and consistently reflect Glia’s global culture and standards.
Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the global budget for office operations, perks, and swag. Oversee global vendors to ensure high standards of service and cost-effectiveness.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is passionate about processes and highly organized and motivated to support a diverse, global workforce. You enjoy the logic of a complex relocation as much as the creativity of a global team event.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience in People Operations or Workplace Experience
Global Mindset: Experience supporting teams across multiple time zones and cultures; you understand that "global" means more than just the headquarters.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes such as international relocations or the execution of large-scale team off-sites.
Exceptional Communication: Fluency in English and Estonian is required
A "Problem-Solver" Mindset: You see a logistical challenge and immediately look for a scalable, creative solution.
