Job Description Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will provide leadership and technical skills for Rotating Components business activities, develop/industrialize routing sheets for new products and legacy routing sheets, follow all the activities linked with plan/monitor of NPI to contribute to the overall business strategy, coordinate the ME team for the business unit.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage Meccanica ME Team team in order to achieve SQDC target defined by the business
  • Manage Manufacturing Engineer team of the Rotating Components business in order to guarantee business continuity and achieve the quality standards required by Customers and International Specs.
  • Manage and coordinate through the different functions involved the activity of industrialization of new machines and new processes.
  • Coordinate, together with the ME Leader the investments involved in the Rotating Components Meccanica Areabusiness.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering with relevant work experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Relevant Knowledge of Rotating Components architectures and relevant technical requirements, design solutions, technologies, validation/certification approach
  • Strong experience in Manufacturing Engineering with increasing responsibilities throughout the years, specialized on products manufactured in Rotating Components area.
  • Ability to set and monitor multiple priorities, coordinate projects/activities of others
  • Ability to manage complex multi-year technical programs in a matrix resource environment
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as per GE Leadership Behaviors
  • Fluent English and Italian, oral and written
