In this role you will be responsible for performing the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Participates in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions. Develops the year plan for the own function on the basis of the framework of the strategic plan for the whole unit.

As a Manufacturing Manager - Operations Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
  • Conduct frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.
  • Handles complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.
  • Leads a medium sized manufacturing unit with a budget > $ 5 million.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  •  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Operations Management, with a focus on Shop Floor Operations.
  • Advanced English Level.
  • Desirable MBA in Business Management.
  • Desirable Green Belt certification.
