About the role

At AT&T, millions of sales transactions turn into paychecks—and getting that right takes more than spreadsheets. Behind the scenes, our Finance Commissions organization ensures sales compensation is calculated accurately, processed on time, and continuously improved through smarter data and automation. Our Mexico City team will be a critical part of that engine—validating complex commission activity across multiple systems, reconciling results end-to-end, and delivering the insights that help leaders run the business with confidence.

AT&T is seeking a Commissions Analyst based in Mexico City. In this role, you will join the Finance Commissions team and ensure the accurate processing, analysis, and reporting of sales commissions across AT&T’s U.S. domestic operations. This is where financial data becomes real payroll: you’ll validate complex transactions across multiple systems, perform reconciliations, and deliver actionable insights to management—all while leveraging AI and advanced analytics tools to continuously improve processes.

This role isn’t just about reconciling numbers. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business areas, resolving complex compensation problems, identifying quality gaps, and recommending automation to make the entire system work better. If you’re driven by analytical work with direct financial impact, this is your role.

What You Will Do:

  • Leverage AI and data analysis tools to validate, reconcile, and report sales commissions across multiple systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned areas, resolving complex compensation issues using analytical and data mining skills.
  • Perform commission reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate completion of operational priorities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Lead or assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), process documentation, and recommend improvements via automation.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and ensure compliance with governance controls, regulations, and company policies.

What You Will Need:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and issue resolution skills
  • Proficiency in AI, SQL, and advanced Microsoft Suite (Excel, CoPilot, MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)
  • Project management experience and the ability to learn new tools and resources quickly
  • Self-direction with strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work with multiple deadlines and competing interests
  • Effective and engaged participation in a team environment

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial, payroll, accounts payable, and/or business analytics
  • Advanced conversational English is required. You’ll collaborate daily with U.S.-based stakeholders in finance and engineering.
  • The role is based in Mexico City. No relocation is offered. This position is hybrid; you may be expected to go into the office 3 days per week.

Why Join Us?

Our Mexico City office is home to a growing technology hub where analysts work directly with U.S.-based teams on financial processes that operate at national scale. You’ll have access to modern tools including AI and CoPilot, real ownership of critical compensation processes, and the backing of a Fortune 500 company that is investing heavily in automation and artificial intelligence.

  • High-impact work: your analysis directly protects compensation accuracy for thousands of U.S. sales professionals
  • Modern tools: AI, CoPilot, Power BI, SQL—technology-powered analytics, not just spreadsheets
  • Cross-border collaboration with U.S. finance, sales, and IT teams
  • Career growth within one of the world’s largest technology and telecommunications companies
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
