Job Description

The Enterprise Data Engineer supports the organization’s core enterprise systems and data platforms, with responsibilities spanning ERP technical support, data pipeline development, and system integrations. This role helps ensure reliable system operations while enabling scalable analytics and reporting solutions across the organization. This role also serves as a key technical partner to the software development team, assisting with the management of on-premises infrastructure and the modernization of deployment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the organization’s ERP platform and related integrations.
Assist with ERP system maintenance, upgrades, testing, and performance monitoring.
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes supporting the Microsoft Fabric data platform.
Integrate data from ERP and other business systems to support analytics and reporting initiatives.
Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to support Power BI datasets and reporting solutions.
Develop and maintain integrations between enterprise systems, including ERP, Quickbase, and other applications.
Document system configurations, data pipelines, and integration processes while supporting ongoing platform improvements.
Infrastructure Bridge: Provide secondary support for the development team’s on-premises Windows/IIS environment, ensuring server stability for hosted applications and databases.
Deployment Support: Partner with software developers to transition manual "local" deployments into automated CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
Environment Stewardship: Monitor on-premises SQL Server health (backups, performance, and storage) to support both the ERP and the broader data platform.
