Schedule: Day Shift; 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM; 3 days a week with rotating weekends (working every other Sat/Sun)
BHT Supervisor
What you’ll be doing:
The BHT Supervisor directs and coordinates the delivery of programming excellence through assigned Behavioral Health Technicians, promoting health and well-being in our patient population. The BHT Supervisor must have strong communication skills, demonstrate the ability to lead teams, motivate others, and influence change. The BHT Supervisor may be required to participate in on-call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Assists in delivery of patient care in the milieu environment
- Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates the work activities of assigned personnel
- Assists in planning and establishing work schedules and assignments
- Assists in the implementation of individualized patient treatment plans
- Confers with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities including team meetings and pre/post preparations
- Supervises the patient experience by providing patient supervision and support, facilitating psycho-educational groups as needed, providing structure/boundaries and contributing to the implementation of therapeutic programming including experiential therapy, behavioral intervention and bathroom/meal-time support, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment
- Implements organization policies and procedures
Must haves:
- High School or GED (Required)
- 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting (Required)
Bonus qualities:
- 6+ months leading teams or supervising others (Preferred)
