Workday Functional Lead Talent and Performance, Recruiting

Location: Poland, Hybrid

In this role you report to the Head of Digital HR & Analytics and will work closely with our HR, IT, and business to support the development, the implementation, support and continuous improvement of various Workday modules, with a primary focus on Recruiting and Talent & Performance.

Your tasks:

  • You manage the various Workday modules and the diverse needs from different user groups to improve the end user adoption of Workday to unveil the full potential of the solution

  • As a functional owner of Workday, you understand the different business needs within the group and build a strong case for change and actively influence the design process

  • Lead the functional design and implementation of new features and enhancements in Workday including requirements gathering, design, documentation, configuration, testing , deployment and training & stabilization

  • Transform technical requirements into concrete value adding outcomes for SWISS KRONO while ensuring the integrity, quality, and security

  • Partner with the Head of Digital HR & Analytics, HR and other business leaders to create business value add solutions within the Workday landscape

  • Provide guidance and expert coaching as subject matter expert to end-users and stakeholders on system capabilities and advanced ways to optimize Workday

  • Manage concurrent and complex Workday projects including new feature implementations and Workday releases for successful implementation and adoption of the new feature functionality

  • Conduct data analysis to identify system trends and recommend solutions to improve data quality, system performance and user experience

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including business process flows, technical specifications, and test scripts

  • Stay current with Workday product releases across multiple functional areas and features and recommend updates and enhancements as appropriate

  • Build and maintain custom reports and calculated fields in Workday

  • Support with mass uploads (EIB) to assist HR in maintaining a high data accuracy and ensure downstream data quality

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field

  • 5+ Years of experience and knowledgeable in the HRIS field

  • 3+ years of Workday experience

  • At least 2 successful end-to-end deployments of Workday HCM as senior functional consultant or internal principal consultant

  • Solid project management skills

  • Workday certified or previously certified consultant preferred

  • Extensive knowledge of Workday HCM

  • Deep understanding of the Workday data structure including business process framework and security

  • Workday Reporting & Calc fields

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve challenges and transform complex requirements in flow chart diagrams and creative solutions

  • Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills, planning & deployment approaches

  • Ability to facilitate communication and work between cross-functional stakeholders: business (non-tech) and technical teams

  • Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently, willingness to take on challenges

  • Basic understanding of the integrations landscape and its impacts to the functional areas and running operations

  • Experience working in an agile development environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to be confidential with personal data

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Polish, English, fluent (C1 or higher)

  • Other language (German, French) is a plus.
