About the role

We are looking for motivated engineering graduates to join our IT Quality organization as Graduate Apprentices / Campus Hires in an IT Product Quality Manager (PQM) track. This role is designed to provide foundational, hands‑on exposure to driving quality across the software/IT product lifecycle—requirements, design, development, testing, release readiness, and production performance—while developing strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

This position is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to learn, grow, and build a career in IT product quality, continuous improvement, and customer experience, partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations/Support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Software Quality & Release Readiness

  • Support quality planning for features and releases (e.g., defining acceptance criteria, test scope, and quality deliverables) under supervision.
  • Assist with release readiness activities (quality gates, go/no‑go inputs, regression coverage status) and help communicate risks and mitigations.
  • Collect, analyze, and trend quality signals (defects, test results, escaped defects, incidents) to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.

Defect, Incident & Problem Management Alignment

  • Assist in defect triage and prioritization with Engineering/QA; support incident/problem management by helping document impact, capture evidence/logs, and track root cause and corrective actions.

Quality Processes, Metrics & Compliance (IT)

  • Help maintain quality artifacts such as test plans, test cases, traceability (requirements-to-test), and release checklists.
  • Track and report key quality metrics (e.g., defect leakage/escape rate, test pass rate, incident trends, basic SLO/SLA adherence) and support continuous improvement actions.
  • Follow IT governance requirements (change/release controls), security and privacy expectations, and data handling/access guidelines as applicable.

Learning & Collaboration

  • Participate in agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, refinement, sprint reviews) and structured training on SDLC, testing practices, and quality tools.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, Support, Security) to support quality deliverables and status reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/partners (as applicable) and demonstrate clear communication when raising risks, documenting decisions, and driving closure.
