WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct signal-of-interest testing and configure devices as a drone expert.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for drones and drone technology, with in-depth knowledge of various models.
• Serve as the go-to expert on drone technology within the team.
• Perform signal characterizations, including building and recording data.
• Set up, execute, and analyze test experiments according to established procedures, documenting findings.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and root cause production-related issues.
• Update existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, and coverage based on engineering instructions.
• Maintain and calibrate electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Document test plans, user instructions, and manuals.
• Travel to test sites and external laboratories as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold FAA Part 107 certification 
• Familiarity with Mission Planner and Q Ground Control; experience with Pixhawk or other flight controllers.
• Previous experience conducting signal-of-interest testing and configure devices as a drone expert.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active engagement in the COTS DJI community.
• Active in the Radio Control (RC) community 
• Proficiency in setting up and executing test experiments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a production environment.
• Experience with automation and updating test systems.
