The Sales Development Representative (Account Executive) will conduct company research, coordinate and schedule preliminary meetings and interviews, maintain agendas, and provide support to the EVP and Senior Project Director. The role includes handling communications, arranging appointments, ensuring the smooth running of projects, updating the CRM system, and preparing clear briefs for designated roles to use in meetings.

This is a full-time role based in India. Working hours will be 12pm to 9pm IST, Monday to Friday.

  • Your key responsibilities include researching and identifying companies suitable for our conferences and special feature reports, contacting the appropriate decision makers, and arranging meetings in line with the Executive Vice President and other persons calendar. The position requires strong skills in drafting detailed, personalised emails, in depth research, and company analysis. You will be able to identify timely reasons to approach target companies such as recent rebrands or product launches, be punctual and professional on the phone and over email, and think creatively about outreach strategies.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Some experience in B2B outreach, sales support, lead generation, or a similar commercial role (media, events, or partnerships is advantageous)
  • Experience engaging with or researching prospective clients and markets
  • Exposure to international markets or clients is beneficial
  • Understanding of events, sponsorships, or content-led offerings is helpful but not essential
  • Familiarity with thought leadership formats (e.g. reports, webinars, whitepapers) is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a strong academic record preferred

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with senior stakeholders (including C-suite)
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify relevant prospects and timely outreach opportunities
