Job Description Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Commercial Real Estate Valuation team. The role involves valuing complex real estate assets, conducting financial analysis, performing market research, and preparing comprehensive valuation reports for client engagements. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling capabilities, commercial real estate knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare valuations of complex commercial real estate assets across various asset classes.
  • Analyze rent rolls, lease agreements, and tenancy structures for commercial properties.
  • Independently develop and review financial models, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Present Value (NPV) analyses.
  • Conduct property inspections, site visits, and market research to assess asset performance and market positioning.
  • Perform comparable market analysis and benchmark properties against relevant transactions and market data.
  • Manage client interactions, address queries, and ensure timely delivery of assignments while meeting client expectations.
  • Prepare high-quality valuation reports, presentations, and client deliverables with clearly documented assumptions, methodologies, and conclusions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support valuation engagements and business development initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in valuation, financial modeling, real estate analysis, and market research.
  • Education: CA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
  • Strong understanding of finance, valuation principles, and commercial real estate markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and analytical tools.
  • Excellent report writing, documentation, and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Argus Enterprise, Power BI, Tableau, or GIS-based analytical tools.
  • Professional certifications such as RICS and/or Registered Valuer (RV/IBBI).
  • Prior exposure to institutional real estate, investment advisory, or consulting environments will be an added advantage.
