Staff Pharmacist – Inpatient Pharmacy | Full-Time, Days
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, weekends as needed
Become an integral member of our clinical team and make a direct impact on patient outcomes. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in patient education and medication management to strengthen interdisciplinary relationships and deliver exceptional care. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in patient education and hospital pharmacy.
- Proficiency in sterile compounding.
- Board Certification (e.g., BCOP, BCPS).
- Familiarity with automated dispensing cabinet systems and controlled substance monitoring.
- Experience ordering, storing, and receiving narcotics; ordering from vendors, including Cardinal and non-Cardinal vendors
- CSM and Omnicell set-up, configuration, analytics, and troubleshooting; knowledge of Waste Log
- Experience with Narcotic Diversion prevention which includes working on metrics, auditing, investigations and preparation of reports for Controlled Substances
Required Qualifications
- Strong commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
- Current New York State pharmacist licensure.
