GENERAL PURPOSE
Leads finance activities in support of major business units, product lines, or operational functions. Partners with business leaders to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and deliver actionable insights. Oversees forecasting, planning, and analysis activities, translating complex financial data into clear recommendations that improve operational and financial outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Partner with business unit and operations leaders to understand objectives, evaluate performance, and drive actions that improve financial results
Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy
Provide insights into key drivers of performance, including cost, productivity, and profitability, and recommend actions to address risks and opportunities
Analyze manufacturing and/or product line performance, identifying trends and supporting data-driven decision-making
Support strategic initiatives such as capital investments, cost optimization, insourcing/outsourcing, and process improvements
Translate financial results into clear, actionable insights for leadership, enabling informed business decisions
Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, setting priorities, providing coaching, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and other business partners to improve processes and deliver business outcome
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation
Ensure financial data integrity and alignment with company policies while maintaining a focus on enabling the business
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Additional Essential Functions
Lead or participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aligned to business priorities
Influence and support change management efforts across the organization
Provide mentorship and professional development for team members
Contribute to enterprise-wide finance initiatives and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, operations finance, or business-facing finance roles
2+ years of experience leading or mentoring finance professionals
Skills and Abilities
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial results to operational performance
Proven ability to influence decisions and partner effectively with leaders at all levels
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Strong communication skills, with experience presenting financial concepts to non-financial audiences
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
Proficiency with financial systems, data tools, and standard business software
