About the role:
The Manufacturing Operations IV role is responsible for managing and performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods. This includes general production manufacturing work, assembling finished components, and process manufacturing batches of bulk materials. The role ensures the efficient and effective production of high-quality products, contributing to Takeda's mission of bringing better health to people and a brighter future to the world.

How you will contribute:
* Manage and perform general production manufacturing work
* Assemble finished components or parts into finished products
* Process manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical and chemical processing
* Set up and operate machine tools to convert materials into parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies
* Perform surface finishing of parts, components, and assembled items
* Package materials or finished goods into containers for protection, display, and handling
* Collaborate within and outside the department, providing minimal guidance on routine tasks

Skills and qualifications:
* Applies Good Manufacturing Practices independently, capable of handling complex situations and mentoring others
* Recognized expert in Product And Manufacturing Information, capable of strategic advice and coaching
* Leads Continuous Improvement Process initiatives, driving strategic improvements and coaching others
* Manages quality control in complex situations, advises on standards and improvements
* Troubleshoots complex problems independently, coaches others in problem-solving techniques
* Enhances team collaboration through advanced understanding of team dynamics and coaching
* Oversees and advises on equipment maintenance and operational efficiency
* Applies lean manufacturing principles independently in complex situations, capable of coaching others
* Implements Environmental Health and Safety standards, recognized as a subject matter expert
* Manages tasks with high attention to detail, independently addresses complex scenarios
* Communicates effectively across organizational levels, anticipates communication requirements
* Analyzes and optimizes workflows, provides guidance on effective management strategies

As this level you will apply your comprehensive technical expertise, gained from a high school diploma and relevant working experience, to solve complex problems. Your proficiency allows you to work independently, often serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues. Errors in this role are impactful, necessitating a thorough approach to your work. You will collaborate within and outside your department, requiring minimal guidance on routine tasks.

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary:

  • Allowances: Commutation, Housing, Overtime Work etc.

  • Salary Increase: Annually, Bonus Payment: Twice a year

  • Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45

  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)

  • Paid Leaves: Annual Paid Leave, Special Paid Leave, Sick Leave, Family Support Leave, Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave, Family Nursing Leave.
