Job Title: Design Engineer II
Location: Cork
Reports to: Design Engineering Director
Job Overview:
The role of Analog IC Designer offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the IC products and get a great insight into the design environment, methodologies and tools of mixed signal IC product design teams. The Analog IC Designer will be responsible for the design and development of analog/mixed signal IC circuit blocks from initial concept/specification through final verification of conformance to customer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design/Familiarity of some/any of the following blocks: Amplifiers, Biasing/Bandgap; Voltage Regulators, ADCs/DACs; Drivers; Receivers; Clocking blocks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analog aptitude, good communication skills, and ability to work co-operatively in a team environment
- Position requires knowledge in using CAD tools for circuit simulation, layout, and physical verification
- Cadence tool experience, lab test experience, are a plus
Job Qualifications:
Successful candidate should be BEng, MEng qualified or have an equivalent qualification.
- MS or PhD in EE are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analog aptitude, good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
