Head of Business Innovation and Strategic Planning

(IIACO Function)

Position Summary

Head of Business Innovation and Strategic Planning is responsible for driving organizational digital strategy to foster JJIM business innovation and efficiency, elevating IIACO capability development, and enabling long‑term business growth. Except for business innovation digital engine , this role oversees operational excellence, business insights, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic decision‑making across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Business Innovation

  • Drive digital programs for JJIM and develop suitable initiatives linked with Company / Division / BU level business strategy and support future growth to keep the competitive edge.

Technology & Customer Solutions

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective customer-facing technology solutions across the project lifecycle.

·       Customer Solution Delivery: work with internal and external stakeholders to develop most suitable customer facing technology solutions across the project delivery lifecycle.

·       Conduct business analysis as necessary to facilitate in defining business requirements and bridging technical development.

  • Collaborate with business, IT leaders and cross functions to deliver agile solutions with measurable business impact.

Organizational Strategy & Operations

  • Lead the team to provide solutions that strengthen organizational processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Support IIACO in overseeing processes and implementing recommendations that enhance organizational effectiveness and cost efficiency.

  • Develop and track scorecards to monitor performance delivery and support strategic decision‑making.

IIACO Capability Building:

  • Identify the future oriented capability in IIACO full functions and design development program to enhance functional expertise.

  • Drive IIACO capability-upskilling initiatives and ensure strategic development plans are cascaded effectively across business units.

Project & Resource Leadership

  • Coordinate and lead key projects initiated by company and IIACO.

  • Facilitate resource prioritization with leadership and ensure alignment to strategic goals.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish communication channels and performance metrics to provide updates, decisions, risks, and key data to stakeholders.

People Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing team by coaching, training, motivating, and evaluating team members.

  • Drive strategic programs involving unique technology and business requirements aligned with broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Over 10 years of relevant work experience, including more than 5 years in departmental management (preferred).

  • Experience in therapeutic areas, sales, or marketing management roles.

Core Competencies

  • Proven experience in multi‑channel sales, marketing, key accounts, or insights & analytics.

  • Strong strategic thinking with outstanding data analytics, business insights, and operational excellence capabilities.

  • Business-results oriented with strong performance, budgeting, and forecasting management.

  • Strong negotiation, influencing, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive, innovative, and highly adaptive to digital initiatives and market evolution.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin.

  • Proficiency in office and digital tools; excellent decision-making, team organization, and interpersonal abilities.
