Liquid Personnel are proud to be working with Richmond and Wandsworth Councils to recruit a skilled and passionate Substance Misuse Social Worker to join their dedicated Substance Misuse Team.

As the Substance Misuse Social Worker, you will:
- Work with adults whose primary social care needs are impacted by substance use
- Provide a duty/front door service offering advice, signposting, screening, and risk assessments
- Complete Care Act assessments and develop strength-based support plans
- Undertake initial care reviews and manage complex cases
- Fulfil statutory safeguarding duties, including Section 42 enquiries
- Collaborate with health professionals, housing services, voluntary sector, and other key partners
Essential requirements of this Substance Misuse Social Worker role:
- Registration as a Social Worker with Social Work England
- Experience working with adults in a statutory setting
- A passion for supporting individuals with substance misuse issues
- Previous experience in substance misuse is desirable but not essential
