About the role
What you will be doing:
The Head of the Enterprise Performance Office is a full-time leadership role responsible for ensuring the organization delivers its highest-priority strategic, operational, member-value, and financial objectives.
The Head of the Enterprise Performance Office reports to the executive sponsor of the transformation (e.g., CAO) and leads the Enterprise Performance Office (EPO). Working on behalf of the executive sponsor and executive leadership team, the Head of the EPO provides enterprise-wide coordination, transparency, and accountability across the transformation portfolio.
The Head of the EPO partners with business and functional leaders without replacing their ownership of day-to-day operations or initiative outcomes. The role requires an objective, fact-based perspective and the ability to challenge assumptions, accelerate decision-making, and drive execution across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the Enterprise Performance Office– 100%
Leads the Enterprise Performance Office and provides program management across the enterprise transformation portfolio
Partners with executive sponsors and business leaders to define financial and operational targets, monitor progress, and drive accountability for results
Establishes governance, reporting, and performance management processes to ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives
Implements a regular cadence of executive forums to drive decision-making, escalate portfolio risks, and remove barriers to execution
Maintains an integrated view of the transformation pipeline, including milestones, financial impact, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements
Partners across contracting, strategic sourcing, category management, clinical/value analysis, member services, supplier relations, finance, technology, and other corporate functions to drive execution
Supports implementation of strategic initiatives that improve member value, contract performance, operational efficiency, and financial performance
Coaches senior leaders and fosters a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement

Experience:
- Experience leading a transformation office, PMO, or large program/project management office, or serving as an enterprise transformation or performance-improvement leader
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation, performance improvement, or turnaround programs in complex organizations
- Experience establishing governance, portfolio management, executive reporting, and performance management processes
- Healthcare GPO, health system, healthcare supply chain, or related healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of healthcare contracting, strategic sourcing, supplier management, member engagement, and implementation processes
- Strong operational and financial acumen, including experience evaluating business cases, financial performance, and organizational trade-offs
- Proven ability to influence senior executives, build alignment across functions, and drive execution through others
- Experience managing multiple interdependent initiatives while balancing strategic priorities, organizational capacity, and measurable business outcomes
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, healthcare administration, engineering, or related discipline
- MBA, master's degree, or other relevant advanced degree
