This Position reports to:
HR Team LeadWe are looking for a motivated HR Operations Intern with German and English to support core HR administrative activities for ABB employees in Switzerland. This role offers hands-on experience in HR operations and employee lifecycle processes within an international environment.
About the Internship:
- Start date: 1st July 2026
- Work in a modern office in Kraków
- Hybrid work model (1-2 days in the office, 3-4 days working from home per week)
- We expect availability of at least 20-30h per week

Responsibilities:
- Performing daily HR administrative tasks for ABB employees across Germany, Switzerland, and Headquarters (HQ)
- Processing payroll-related transactions, including education reimbursements, sports allowances, overtime payments, accident entries in SUNET, and One Time Payments
- Managing and updating employee data in internal HR systems
- Providing support and responding to employees’ HR-related inquiries via the Ask HR Ticketing System
- Ensuring accurate and timely handling of HR documentation and requests
Requirements:
- Active student status
- B1-B2 German and English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
- Basic knowledge of SAP, Workday or HR systems is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and communication skills
