Under the indirect supervision of a manager, you plan and organize cross-functional projects and develop consumer-centric objectives and strategies in response to business needs. You also interact independently with senior management and stakeholders.
How you will contribute
You will deliver on single or multi-country, multi-stage complex projects, meeting standards and time frames by designing research and producing high quality, actionable data. You will lead all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer research and ensure that the data gleaned is translated into a cohesive story. To that end, you will interpret results, report and present findings, and make recommendations that shapes decision making within the project team. In this role, you will also lead descriptive panels, training, data analysis, reporting and assess panelist’s performance, interact with your peers, product developers/marketing and other colleagues, and may take on supervisory responsibility when completing assignments. This role requires and understanding and the application of multivariate statistical methods to gain deeper understanding and insights from the research. Teamwork is essential in this position as you will be working in cross-functional project teams. You will partner with key stakeholders (R&D and commercial/insights) to ensure that the work is aligned with strategic priorities and ensure that procedures are followed and the highest standards of work and environment, health and safety are maintained.
What you will bring

- Qualification in food science, engineering, psychology, sociology, food technology, food chemistry or similar
- Experience in Consumer Science including Qualitative and quantitative consumer testing methods
- Understand statistical methods and application to sensory / consumer research to analyze data and interpret results
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy to create solutions and work independently
- Digital fluency – comfortable using digital research tools and data platforms.
- Handling multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines
- Working with cross-functional teams and business partners
- Project planning and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to clearly convey findings and influence through evidence

- Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Happy to taste gums and jelly sweets on a regular basis

What you need to know about this position:
- Responsible for all sensory and consumer research performed for the Gum & Candy category for Europe, including Innovation, Productivity and Core Maintenance
- This is temporary, fixed-term position till September 2027
Education / Certifications:
- Degree holder, preferable with Sensory / Consumer qualification
Job specific requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Science / Consumer Insights
Travel requirements:
- Wroclaw, Poland; travel only rarely (1-2 per year).
