What you’ll be doing...

Provides support for implementing processes and layouts for complex, large-scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes. Supports the building of large and complex data sets from spurious sources while thinking strategically about uses of data and how data use interacts with data design. Provides support to generate hypotheses and create analytical models that answer impactful business questions.

• Meet with the business clients to gather solutions requests and data requirements to provide feedback to the data science team.

• Translating business KPIs into governed, reusable data models, optimizing SQL performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable, self-service insights

• Implement statistical data quality procedures around new data sources.

• Perform data validation tests and updating procedures to ensure models are successfully implemented.

• Create reports and visualizations based on the results of the models to share with the business clients.

• Monitor the developed data models and systems, identifying any possible issues that need to be resolved.

• Gain operational efficieny by adopting AI tools

What we’re looking for...

Developing resolutions to complex problems, using your sharp judgment to develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria allows you to deliver solutions that make a huge impact. You’re able to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, and you take pride in your ability to share your considerable knowledge with your peers.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Experience in data modeling, building interactive visualizations, and leveraging the LookML platform for semantic layer development.

• Experience in Looker & Qlik or similar visual analysis tool, optimization, analytics and large data sets, project management, developing visually compelling interactive dashboards.

• Experience as a data scientist, analyst, or statistical modeler.

• Experience in data modeling using the Looker / LookML platform

• Experience in visual science / dashboard design principles.

• Experience in applying statistical ideas and methods to data sets to answer business problems.

• Experience with programming language SQL

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in Digital Analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc,.

• Familiarity with digital adoption metrics, value realization analytics is an added advantage

• Knowledge of third-party analytic tools.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.

• A passion for educating and communicating analytic findings and insights with integrity to all levels: from going over raw output with colleagues to creating PowerPoint presentations and storyboards that captivate and succinctly convey complex ideas to our strategic business partners.
