The Enterprise Data Integrity Business Partner advances enterprise-wide Data Integrity initiatives by managing projects, system upgrades, and workflow improvements to ensure accurate patient and guarantor records. It partners with leadership to plan and implement change management strategies, including communication, training, and policy development. The role drives standardization of Data Integrity processes across all care settings and affiliated partners, maintaining documentation and compliance standards. Additional responsibilities include monitoring system health, analyzing metrics, identifying issues, and escalating recurring problems. The position also supports process improvement and provides training and mentorship to team members, requiring strong analytical and project coordination skills.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5 pm
  • Supports Data Integrity through active participation in committees, upgrades, implementations and projects related to patient/guarantor matching and record correction.

  • Serves as a lead on projects related to Data Integrity workflows and system related changes.

  • Assists with planning, deliverables and follow-up tasks.

  • Assists the Manager Enterprise Data Integrity Operations in identifying and coordinating change efforts, including communication, change readiness assessment, gap analysis, education, work flows and policy and procedural changes.

  • Develops staff training and supporting documents to support project execution and implementation activities.

  • Helps drive standardization of all aspects of Data Integrity for the corporation that aligns with acute and ambulatory, as well as Joint Ventures and Health Connect partners.

  • Develops and maintains corporate documentation, policy, and procedures for standardized Data Integrity operations.

  • Assists with the generation, interpretation, analysis and dissemination of information related to Data Integrity metrics, quality, productivity and compliance activities.

  • Identifies any data integrity issues and reports those items to the Data Integrity Manager for review.

  • Provides feedback and education to areas performing patient search & selection functions.

  • Escalates issues of repeat occurrences to management for follow up.

  • Assists in training, coaching and mentoring of new co-workers in the Data Integrity Department.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree Health Information Management - Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Health Information Management - Preferred

  • 5 years EHR Experience - Required

  • 5 years Health Information Management Experience - Required

  • 2 years Data Integrity Experience - Preferred

  • 1 year Epic Operational/End User Experience - Preferred

  • 1 year Process Improvement Activities - Preferred

  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Required

  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Preferred
