About the role
What you will do
The Product/Contract Engineer is responsible for mechanical and electrical engineering analysis, detailed design and development of special requirements, as well as selection of air- and water-cooled chillers components and systems, including providing support to the production, laboratory, service, applications, and marketing teams.
How you will do it
Investigates and analyses product design proposals and able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product.
Proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support designs.
Responsible for technical direction to application engineers, designers, factory operations, product marketing, and product technical service.
Proficient at selecting the most suitable electrical and mechanical components.
Uses standard and sophisticated technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and standard methodologies in field.
Responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials.
Responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials.
Experience with mechanical systems and material resource planning (MRP) software also a plus.
Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards. Implementing prevention risks tools such as DFMEA.
Creates specifications, requirements, and criteria for concepts, performance, and production.
Designs and develops devices in accordance with the various phases of a program schedule.
Develops, maintains, and releases engineering drawings, system designs, or engineering documentation.
Provides manufacturing support ensuring products are built according to customer requirements and product specifications.
Abide by the company's ethics policy, company system, policy and process, and comply with the quality requirements related to the position.
Complete the task temporarily assigned by the superior.
What we look for
Education: BE, BTech or above in mechanical/Electrical engineer and other related majors.
Work experience: more than 4 years of experience in the Chiller Team/ HVAC Team
SAP operational knowledge.
