About the opportunity

In this role, you take ownership of IT procurement activities that drive value, efficiency, and strong supplier partnerships across the organization. You implement procurement strategies defined by the IT Global Category Leader and make a direct impact on category performance, sourcing decisions, and cost optimization. You manage supplier relationships, support internal stakeholders, and continuously improve processes to strengthen QIAGEN’s IT procurement capabilities.

Your tasks include

• Reporting your work outcomes, sourcing results, and process updates to the IT Global Category Leader.
• Implementing procurement strategies and category plans aligned with global IT priorities.
• Managing the full supplier lifecycle—identifying new vendors, negotiating terms, monitoring performance, and building strong partnerships.
• Driving cost savings and reporting results accurately through designated files and tools.
• Leading end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract management activities in compliance with procurement policies.
• Acting as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Enhancing procurement processes, tools, and reporting to improve efficiency and category performance.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, project management, or supply chain.
• Background in IT procurement and SAP knowledge are strong advantages.
• Strong command of English with excellent written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and support stakeholders at all levels.
• Influencing skills that help drive goals and strengthen organizational performance.
• Strong relationship-building and problem‑solving abilities.
