This role supports the Director, Investments, in overseeing private investment activities, including the design and implementation of the private‑asset investment framework and the execution of investment strategies across private assets. Key responsibilities include setting the overall portfolio construction and deployment approach, establishing robust risk oversight and governance standards, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal risk guardrails. The role is also responsible for strengthening post‑investment monitoring, asset‑owner oversight, overall investment capabilities, as well as shaping the long‑term strategy to support deployment of private assets.

Job Description:

  • Lead asset‑owner oversight of private investments such as review of investment opportunities, transition towards a GP‑focused approach, develop appropriate investment structure in line with regulatory requirements, and plan the deployment pipeline to ensure progress toward the target allocation.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of a comprehensive private‑assets investment framework such as portfolio construction, deployment pacing, investment structuring, and onboard & integrate of risk systems. Establish appropriate risk limits and governance for deployment across private assets.

  • Oversee and strengthen post‑investment monitoring and risk‑management practices across private assets such as ongoing monitoring, performance review, and compliance with approved risk limits and guardrails, to ensure the private‑asset platform supports business needs and growth.

  • Ensure timely fulfilment of investment‑related conditions such as implementation of required guardrails and deployment prerequisites. Translate conditions into clear, executable actions across each deployment stage, working with internal stakeholders to enable efficient implementation of plans.

  • Lead private‑markets initiatives and projects, ensuring timely execution, clear communication of project status, timelines, and next steps, and alignment with business’s long‑term needs and objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance or related discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years investment experience related to investments in private and alternative space.

  • Self-driven, open minded, and fast learner.

  • Team player and strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Good communication skills with ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

  • Project management skills with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in private and alternative assets such as strategy development, deployment planning and risk management is an advantage.

  • ESG/responsible investment experience is a plus.
