The work
The Testing Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of the overall test strategy across SAP programs. This role leads test planning activities, defines scope and timelines, and ensures all test phases—functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end—are completed successfully. The Testing Manager collaborates closely with functional, development, and technical teams to identify defects, drive resolution, and ensure quality across SAP modules and integrated systems. Experience with SAP cross‑process functionality and testing across multiple SAP modules is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate collaboration with functional, development, and technical teams to resolve issues identified during test execution
- Develop test strategies and manage large, complex SAP testing efforts
- Lead test planning activities, defining scope, timelines, and required resources for each testing phase
- Track and manage defects through resolution, ensuring timely follow‑up with responsible teams
- Coordinate across teams to ensure successful execution of all test phases
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members
- Support cross‑process SAP testing and ensure consistency across integrated modules
Here’s what you need:
- 5+ years of experience testing SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, and external system integrations
- Experience with cross‑process SAP testing across multiple modules
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and test planning
- Ability to collaborate across functional, technical, and development teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with SAP test automation tools
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), ChaRM, or testing accelerators
- Prior experience working in large‑scale federal or enterprise SAP implementations
Eligibility requirements:
- US Citizenship required (no dual citizenship)
- Ability to obtain a client Public Trust government clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
