Role Overview
The Lead Specialist, Tier 1 Platform Management is responsible for driving Analog Devices’ engagement with key automotive Tier 1 suppliers at platform level. The role focuses on supporting platform-related activities across opportunity development, customer coordination, sourcing support, and execution follow-through to help ensure ADI solutions are positioned and implemented successfully across multiple OEM programs via Tier 1 platforms.
This role acts as a central coordination point between Tier 1 customers, OEM-related platform activities, and internal ADI teams. The focus is on managing platform-related execution, aligning stakeholders, tracking milestones, and supporting the successful rollout of business opportunities over long automotive lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage selected strategic Tier 1 customer platforms (e.g. SoC power, body (eFuse), connectivity, zonal architecture, ...)
- Support early customer engagement at Tier 1 platform level and help position ADI solutions within relevant customer platforms
- Act as a key coordination interface for Tier 1 platform teams
- Align Tier 1 platform activities with OEM-related platform priorities in close collaboration with the OEM Platform Lead
- Coordinate internal ADI resources such as FAEs, Global Solutions, Product Lines, and commercial stakeholders to support platform opportunities and execution
- Support demand creation activities across the relevant platform ecosystem, including Tier 1s, OEMs, and design partners
- Help prepare and align commercial offers for platform-related opportunities, including hardware, software, NRE / services, and tools where applicable
- Support Tier 1 and OEM sourcing processes with required cross-functional documentation, including commercial, technical, logistic, quality, and sustainability inputs
- Track platform activities from opportunity phase through execution and production ramp-up, including milestone alignment, sampling coordination, and execution readiness
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and support resolution of platform-related issues and escalations
- Support operational follow-through on platform-related topics;
This includes:
- Ensuring all opportunities are loaded as timely / accurately as possible to the Pipeline to enable clear capacity planning
- Identify reuse opportunities of Tier 1 platforms across multiple OEMs and vehicle programs
- Feedback customer insights, platform trends, and execution learnings into ADI account and platform planning
- Contribute to account plans, Tier 1 / OEM joint reviews, and selected executive-level engagements. This includes:
- Monthly/Qtrly check with CAS/GAM Automotive teams to ensure that FCSTs in the system mirror the MSD FCST in the system
- Provide clear narrative on gaps between MSD and CFIT/APO FCSTs

Required Qualifications
- Experience in automotive semiconductor sales, operations, program coordination, account support, or platform-related customer engagement
- Good understanding of automotive Tier 1 and OEM interaction models and platform-related business processes
- Experience working across multiple programs, customers, or complex cross-functional environments
- Ability to coordinate technical, commercial, and operational topics across internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with a structured and execution-driven mindset
- Ability to manage follow-through across long timelines and multiple parallel workstreams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with platform-related customer activities in the automotive semiconductor environment
- Familiarity with sourcing processes and customer documentation requirements
- Experience supporting complex customer opportunities from early engagement through execution
- Exposure to commercial coordination topics such as pricing alignment, contract follow-up, or business case support
