Physical and Occupational Therapy Aide

Based at the Lauritzen Outpatient Center and Clarkson Doctor's Building South, you will help prepare treatment areas, assist with safe patient mobility, maintain equipment and supplies, and keep daily clinic operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with people, staying active, and contributing to a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Work Schedule Details:  

  • Full Time - Day Shift

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30

Required Qualifications: Physical and Occupational Therapy Aide:

  • Minimum of one year customer service experience required

  • High school education or equivalent required.

  • Strong team orientation required.

  • Ability to identify and solve problems required.

  • Customer relations skills, both verbal and written required.

  • Ability to form and maintain working relationships within the organization to foster a team environment required.

  • Knowledge of computer, keyboard, printers, various software programs, approved on-line resources, multi-line telephone with and without headset, scanners, copy machine, fax, cyracom telephones, and office equipment required.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with aptitude for detail-oriented work required.

  • Efficient data entry skills required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.


Preferred Qualifications: Physical and Occupational Therapy Aide:

  • Previous rehabilitation experience preferred and previous experience in scheduling and insurance background.

  • Previous experience with exercise equipment typically found in rehab setting, including but not limited to treadmills, exercise bikes, whirlpool, wheelchairs, walkers, etc. preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
