Senior AI/ML System Security Architect (m/f/d)

We are looking for a System Security Architecture Expert with a strong focus on AI/ML for edge systems based on NXP products to help us design the future of secure embedded intelligence.

Your Role: Building Security for the Edge of Tomorrow

In this influential role, you will:

• Analyze emerging security threats related to AI/ML on edge devices

• Define and architect innovative countermeasures that meet real-world customer needs

• Integrate regulatory and certification requirements into robust security concepts

• Evaluate the cost-benefit trade-offs of security mechanisms and communicate your findings clearly across diverse technical and business teams

• Explore how to implement effective protections on highly resource‑constrained devices

• Stay ahead of fast-evolving developments in the AI/ML and embedded security ecosystem

You’ll work closely with experts across NXP—spanning hardware, software, architecture, and product management—to elevate product security to the next level.

To thrive in this role, you ideally have:

• Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience designing or developing secure systems for embedded environments
  OR hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions on edge devices with strong interest in security

• Solid understanding of embedded software design principles

• Excellent communication skills to articulate architectural strategies to a wide range of stakeholders
