About the role
Student Engagement seeks federal work-study eligible students to perform as Marketing Coordinators. The Marketing Coordinators will expand the ways in which Student Engagement intentionally interacts with students online, as well as sharing events, programs, and services with the community.
Responsibilities:
- Based on strengths, work as graphic designer, social media assistant, and/or photographer/videographer.
- Research/benchmark social media trends and strategies to help inspire creation of engaging and relevant content that connects to brand of offices.
- Write, develop, and design online content adhering to UVA design and communication standards.
- Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately.
- Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
- Collaborate with other department programs to coordinate promotions and increase reach.
- Duties will vary according to position.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
No experience or previous training required. Perform routine tasks with minimal responsibility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
