Job Description

About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.

Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

Our Retail team plays a key role in delivering a seamless experience to end customers. As our retail business continues to scale, we’re looking for an Account Operations Specialist with a strong operational mindset to help improve performance across our retail partners, with a focus on the end-customer experience.

In this role, you will focus on improving the operational performance of retail partners by analyzing data, identifying issues, and driving improvements related to order quality, item availability, and fulfillment reliability. You will work closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to turn insights into action. While this role is closely related to account management, it does not include direct ownership of the business relationship. Instead, you will act as the operational focal point, working internally to support and improve the overall partner performance.

This is primarily an office-based role, with occasional field visits as needed (up to once a week) for observation, issue investigation, and implementation support.

What you’ll be doing

  • Monitor and analyze daily performance metrics (e.g. cancellations, item availability, order quality)
  • Identify trends and investigate root causes of operational issues using data and internal tools (e.g. Looker, Excel)
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Work closely with Account Managers to support performance improvements across retail partners
  • Act as the operational point of contact internally, partnering with Account Managers rather than directly managing merchant communication
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Support) to resolve operational challenges
  • Support initiatives related to inventory accuracy, fulfillment processes, and system integrations
  • Track progress and follow up on improvement actions
