Profisee MDM Developer Specialist (Databricks/AWS)

Profisee MDM Developer is a part of the Enterprise Data Management and Analytics team. The role is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Profisee Master Data Management (MDM) platform enabling the Company to achieve and maintain enterprise-wide Data Quality (DQ) goals. MDM Developer is mainly working in collaboration with the internal stakeholders in the Enterprise Data team; also, occasional collaboration with external MDM implementation partners is encouraged.

Job Summary: MDM Developer is responsible for configuration of the Profisee Master Data Management (MDM) platform from data modeling, matching and survivorship strategies, data quality rules, to the front-end user experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with master data management tools, preferably Profisee MDM.

​Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge and experience working with Profisee

• Experience in implementing data models with ability to understand and interact in data model discussions on business and technical level

• Experience in working with MDM process related design, e.g., defining strategies for match/merge & survivorship, data quality, etc.

• Understanding of front-end and back-end technology, as well as interaction between technical components

• Experience working with process design, including translation to process flow diagrams

• Knowledge of and experience working with REST API’s

• Proficient in SQL and ETL processes

• Knowledge of data governance and stewardship

• Experience with Informatica, Databricks and PySpark would be an asset

Essential Functions & Accountabilities: Based on defined business requirements and technical specifications, implement and maintain configuration of the Profisee Master Data Management (MDM) platform supporting all domains - customers, products, suppliers, employees, reference data, etc. That entails:

• Data models

• Matching & Survivorship strategies

• Data Quality rules

• Workflows to enable more effective master data management and data stewardship activities, etc.

• Conduct data analysis and up-stream/down-stream data mapping and transformation specifications

• Perform data verification

• Build reports for data analysis

Contribute to preparing documentation related to master data processes and systems:

• Data Dictionaries

• Source to target mappings

• Solution Design Documents, etc.

• Conduct or coordinate tests to ensure that developed components are consistent with defined functional and technical needs

• Contribute to implementation of data quality and data governance frameworks and strategies

• Other tasks in relation to MDM, e.g., supporting acquisitions

Experience:

• 5-7 years of work experience in:

• Development/configuration and maintenance of Master Data Management tool. Experience with Profisee MDM solution is a big advantage.

• MDM domains like Products, Customers, Employees, Vendors, and reference data.

• Data analysis and verification, source to target mapping, documentation related to master data processes and systems.
