About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to support reporting, analysis and financial operations across a key client account.
This hands-on role will see you working closely with operational and finance teams to deliver and support accurate reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure financial controls are met. You’ll play a key role in month-end processes, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives, while partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Support monthly reporting including journals, analysis, and commentary
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, provisions, accruals)
Assist with annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Conduct financial analysis including variance and trend reviews
Partner with operational teams to ensure financial deliverables are met
Respond to stakeholder and supplier queries in a timely manner
Maintain compliance with financial controls and audit requirements
Assist with process improvements and ad hoc finance projects
Develop and maintain financial reporting documentation.
About You
Must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a security clearance process.(please state this clearly on your CV)
Experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis roles
Strong reconciliation and reporting experience
Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or Anaplan experience highly regarded
Experience with financial systems is preferred (JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently
