Job Description
ALES ASIA was founded in Taiwan in 2006. Our factory is located in the Taichung Science Park in Taiwan and it has class 1000 and 100 cleanroom (192 m2) and ISO 9001 certificates.
We provide a proven, reliable and cost effective solution to worldwide special gas delivery equipment needs, including gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes. Beside, we also have capabilities of customizing manifold and controller PLC ; HMI design, and calculation service to ensure customer need is met. ALES ASIA's customers are located all over the world, and our product are widely used in various industry such as semiconductor foundries, LCD, LED, Solar, lab, institute and other applications. Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to procurement,warehouse and logistics to meet the changing levels of product demand.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
General:
1. Implement methods, practices, and techniques to ensure optimal movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while delivering world class customer experience
2. Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
3. Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
4. Lead the BCM of SCM to manage and minimize the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
5. Taking responsibility for the performance and development of his/her employees, assigning tasks, evaluating their performance, and assisting skill development. Identify and develop Talents to ensure proper substitution matrices to accommodate any future development and backups
Procurement & Logistic:
1. Execute a global sourcing strategy that eliminates the sole source situation and leverages our scale for improved cost, delivery performance, and stability of supply.
2. Lead the material cost out program in ALES Asia to identify and execute cost savings projects totaling 3% of spend YoY (net of material economics) through actions including: cost saving project management, negotiation of favorable payment terms, pricing, MOQ, lot sizes, etc. with suppliers.
3. Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
4. Manage the supplier assessment program and ensure suppliers and subcontractors are meeting or exceeding quality, cost and delivery expectations.
5. Manage purchasing activities for items procured on a local basis. Manages supplies costs and delivery issues, and takes corrective actions to ensure order to delivery meets customer expectation.
6. Partner with site manufacturing teams to drive lowest total cost of acquisition and highest material availability to support ongoing production operations.
7. Partner with the Operation & Technology and Manufacturing Department to develop supplier relationships and source new materials necessary to develop breakthrough products in our category.
8. Develop the replenishment strategy for part numbers in the MRP system to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts while ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained.
9. Analyze and manage aggregate inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet profit and inventory targets and goals. Direct the materials planning and procurement team in analyzing the need for and size of strategic inventories to meet customer demand fluctuations.
Planning:
1. Ensure optimal supply chain execution and production through strong cross functional teamwork (Regional Sales, Marketing & Product, Manufacturing, Finance, Manufacturing) by recommending actions based on ERP planning and reporting
2. Lead Production and Capacity Planning and facilitate the SIOP process for the ALES Asia, ensuring cross-functional participation, accountability, and procedural compliance with each critical step in the process, with focuses on Demand/Supply Alignment and maintaining lead times that meet market expectations.
3. Coordination of short and mid-term planning on a daily and monthly basis - including Capacity planning, daily detail scheduling support according to market requirements, planning data validation and maintaining accuracy, production reports maintenance.
4. Long-term planning - strategic 18 months horizon capacity analysis performance related to the following objectives:
capacity overview
manpower and machine capabilities
overview planned sourcing changes
coordination MRP for Procurement negotiations
Warehouse:
1. Initiating and monitoring a formalized cycle counting procedure to inspect and ensure inventory on-hand accuracy and ensuring profit and loss impact communicated to the plant finance team.
2. Manage and develop material receiving and Warehouse functions.
3. Identifies optimal material handling and transportation routes to manufacturing with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
4. Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.

- Education: Business Management or Industry Engineering
- 7+ years related working experience
- Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information and processes
- Actively seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory
Top-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes especially for SIOP
- Previous experience with Supply Chain Management is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal customers.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Self Driving and hands on personality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
