This position reports to:
Service Manager__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will be supporting our service department in coordinating the spare parts assembly and packaging while adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use equipment on the shop floor, ensuring that spare parts and modules are accurately assembled, packed, and shipped to our customers on time.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Service Operations team in Napier.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Assemble and prepare spare parts according to work instructions and specifications
Perform quality control checks and verify accuracy of items before packaging
Pack items according to established packing rules, ensuring proper ESD protection and safety standards
Prepare packages for dispatch
Pick components from inventory using SAP pick lists and production orders when required
Maintain inventory records and update SAP and other systems with completion status
Execute administrative tasks including labelling, barcoding, and documentation
Handle both standard and non-standard assembly requirements with problem-solving approach
Qualifications for the role
SAP system proficiency (pick lists, production orders, inventory management)
Familiarity with packing standards, labelling, and barcoding systems
Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols for electronic components
Ability to read technical instructions
Basic IT competency and familiarity with warehouse management systems
This role is open only to candidates who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
