Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment within our plant. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
 

Location: Fox Creek, AB. Successful candidate will be responsible for own transportation to and from the plant location.
 

Hours: 40 hours per week with occasional call-ins to support operational needs.
 

Wage: $52.00 per hour
 

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and hydraulics.

• Create and update plant preventative maintenance program.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Conduct equipment inspections and document maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency of equipment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright Certification in Alberta or Red Seal Endorsement.

• Minimum 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing millwright experience.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in creating and maintaining a preventative maintenance program.

• Ability to read diagrams and technical manuals.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

• Safety tickets: H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS is considered an asset.
