Loan Document and Processing Group Manager Agency Deal Closing SVP

Global Lending Operations (GLO) serves as the foundation of Citi Loan Servicing, specializing in the execution of loan closings, servicing, and compliance. This team ensures meticulous management of the loan portfolio from initiation through maturity, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to delivering customized financial solutions to clients. The Lending Ops Group is instrumental in upholding Citi's reputation for reliability and financial integrity.

The Agency Deal Closing Loan Operations team is responsible for managing the closing and booking of the portfolio of syndicated corporate loans where Citi acts as the Administrative Agent ("Agent"). The Agent serves as the conduit between the Borrower(s) and the syndicate lending group to manage loan servicing activities as defined by the credit agreement.

Responsibilities:

• Highly Experienced Professional: Deeply knowledgeable and experienced in managing complex, critical, and large professional disciplinary areas within Citi Loan Servicing.

• Subject Matter Expert: Possesses deep integration of subject matter and industry expertise, with a solid grasp of industry practices and standards.

• Delivery and Results Oriented: Accountable for the delivery and end results of a comprehensive range of services across core business activities to one or more businesses or geographic regions.

• Manages Non-Standard Initiatives: Oversees executive management and oversight of initiatives such as procedure development, training, reporting, KPI/SLA management, and control identification/implementation.

• Technical Authority: Recognized as a technical authority within a specific business area, offering advice and counsel on technology and operations.

• Innovator: Responsible for developing and/or refining new techniques and policies that set industry standards.

• Advanced Judgment and Execution: Requires advanced judgment to evaluate complex issues, understand business and commercial implications of technical contributions, navigate conflicts, overcome obstacles, and reduce bureaucracy.

• Holistic Functional Understanding: Essential to possess a comprehensive understanding of how various areas within a function interact to achieve objectives.

• Expert Communicator: Systematically deconstructs and communicates complex information using advanced communication and diplomatic skills, mindful of diverse audiences.

• Influential Leader: Guides, mentors, influences, and persuades colleagues (often at a senior level) and may interact with external customers. Manage a team of eight or more.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years' experience

• Advanced understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services

• Awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation

• Expert in identifying, mitigating, managing, resolving, and escalating risks and issues

• In-depth awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes

• Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred

Individual must be accountable, ethical, results oriented, trustworthy, and credible.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$132,160.00 - $198,240.00
