As a Digital & Data Services Intern at PwC Malaysia, you will be part of our Internal Firm Services (IFS) – Information Technology team, gaining hands-on exposure to IT operations, digital tools, data-driven service improvements, and service management processes. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop technical skills, support real operational needs, and collaborate closely with IT professionals across the firm.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Support & User Assistance
Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot common IT issues related to hardware, software, access, and system functionality.
Assist the service desk team in resolving technical problems and providing timely user support.
Collaborate with team members to deliver quality work that adds value to users and internal stakeholders.
2. Incident Management
Support the triage, tracking, and resolution of IT incidents following established IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
Update incident records, document actions taken, and escalate issues when necessary.
Communicate incident progress and outcomes to end users in a clear and professional manner.
3. Data & Service Performance Analysis
Collect and analyze service performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement areas.
Develop simple dashboards or reports to support service improvement initiatives.
Gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns that support operational insights.
4. Process Improvement & Collaboration
Participate in continuous improvement discussions to enhance IT service delivery and overall user experience.
Contribute ideas and assist in refining IT processes and workflow documentation.
Work closely with the Digital & Data Services team and cross-functional stakeholders on ad hoc operational tasks or digital projects.
5. Professional & Personal Development
Embrace a learning mindset and take ownership of your development throughout the internship.
Actively listen, ask questions, and communicate clearly in both technical and non-technical discussions.
Apply relevant professional and technical standards, upholding PwC’s code of conduct and independence requirements.
