Primary Responsibilities:
As a Wealth Management Principal, you will serve our clients with a range of financial planning services, which require the following responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with Partners and colleagues to manage a client load of 75-80 clients
Provide exceptional, responsive service, portfolio management, and advice to all clients
Maintain a disciplined and organized approach to managing numerous client activities and tasks
Manage and mentor Associates and Senior Associates
Build strong, long-term client relationships. You will work with clients to analyze their current financial health, help set short/long-term financial goals, and design a realistic plan of action. You will proactively provide the following:
Coordination of client meetings including materials, agenda, and post-meeting action item follow-up
Answers to clients’ questions with superior service front of mind, always
Financial planning using e-Money
Trade recommendations and portfolio management
Achieve annually established goals to obtain client referrals, develop relationships with centers of influence, and develop new business in a rainmaking or closing role.
Demonstrate professional, ethical, and courteous conduct in responsibilities and dealings with clients, prospects, COIs, colleagues, and other entities with which Cerity Partners has a relationship. This includes compliance with legal, professional and established firm standards of conduct.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
7-10 years of professional work experience ideally with 3+ years financial planning or related
Preferred Qualifications:
CFP designation
Working knowledge of e-Money, Salesforce, and Excel

Ability to listen and empathize with clients, spot, and analyze issues, and simplify/explain financial concepts
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation Range:
$150,000-220,000

Education and Professional Certifications Reimbursement: Cerity Partners will reimburse colleagues up to $10,000 per year for pre-approved degrees and certifications subject to a lifetime maximum of $30,000 and various other conditions. Eligible for full time colleagues after 90 days of continuous active service.
