Airbus Commercial is looking for its Head Of Export Control & Sanctions Regulatory (f/m) to join our Export Control Programme Office based in Toulouse, France.

The HO Export Control & Sanctions Regulatory supports this commitment by ensuring the consistent implementation of Sanctions and Export Control regulations and procedures across Airbus, supporting the divisions and controlled subsidiaries in particular for Sanctions management and determining the Classification strategy, while promoting a strong Compliance culture overall.

Your challenges:
Managing a team of 7 Compliance expert managers based primarily in Europe,
Designing, updating and deploying Export Control policies related to Sanctions and Classification including directives, methods and guidelines to address changes in the regulatory environment; overseeing implementation of such policies, fostering a consistent, group-wide approach on sanctions and classification,
Providing group-wide training for exposed populations on Sanctions and Classification,
Managing the Legal Expert Group on Sanctions to raise awareness within Airbus Legal & Compliance
Reinforcing the network which currently exists in Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defense & Space and Airbus Helicopters, providing Sanctions regulatory watch and sharing it with subsidiaries and affiliates,
Advising the business on sanctions, embargoes and diversions, managing working relationships with key stakeholders.
Co-Leading project to review processes and tools applicable to the aircraft lifecycle.
Leading Airbus external engagement and representation for Sanctions compliance toward industry, government...
Provide strategic requirements and governance for the development and operation of automated digital tools, using AI and data structure to optimize screening and classification.
Your boarding pass:
At least 10 years of experience on Export Control and/or Sanctions Compliance, on EU and US export control (ideally in the aerospace industry),
Management experience in a similar role would be a plus,
Strong organizational and communication skills; sound business judgment; involves others appropriately in consultations and decisions,
Excellent writing skills in English required,
Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills,
High degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust,
Ability to support business pressure on daily files.
Fluency in both english and french
