Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Inventory & Deployment Manager is accountable for the end‑to‑end ownership and performance of POS inventory and hardware deployment operations across Europe.
The role leads a team of SMEs and ensures optimal stock availability, strong deployment performance, and effective vendor commercial accountability, while maintaining CapEx and OpEx spend in line with agreed plans and forecasts, in close partnership with Product, Vendor Management, and Finance.
A key expectation of the role is to drive continuous operational improvement, actively identifying, prioritising, and delivering efficiency gains through digitisation and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Deployment Operations:
Hold end‑to‑end responsibility for POS inventory, including stock forecasting, ordering, distribution, and consumables management, ensuring optimal stock levels across all markets.
Own Inventory & Deployment SLAs and KPIs, proactively monitoring performance addressing any breaches, and driving continuous improvement.
Ensure all team procedures are documented, approved, and consistently followed.
Lead and represent Inventory & Deployment in projects and new POS product launches, working closely with Product, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure full operational readiness.
Drive and deliver operational efficiency initiatives, integrating digitisation and automation into Inventory and Deployment processes.
Act as the senior escalation point for Inventory & Deployment related items across Europe.
Vendor & Commercial management:
Lead & own European POS CapEx and OpEx planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting, ensuring minimal variance between forecast and actuals
Lead & own proactive vendor commercial reviews to ensure best value for money across all European markets.
Agree, track, and enforce improvement targets across delivery lead times, repairs, NFF, Discovery, and DOA.
Work closely with POS Deployment and Hardware vendors across Europe, leading and actively participating in regular vendor reviews with a strong focus on operational delivery.
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inventory & Deployment SMEs (up to ~10 FTEs).
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations; manage performance proactively.
Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Required knowledge, Skills & Experience
Min. 3 years people leadership experience, leading operational teams with clear SLAs, KPIs, and performance measures.
Proven experience in inventory management across multiple markets.
Strong experience with CapEx and OpEx planning, forecasting, and cost control, including variance management.
Demonstrated experience leading vendor commercial negotiations and performance management.
English C1
Experience driving operational improvement initiatives, including process optimisation, automation, and efficiency gains.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including proactive communication and effective escalation management.
Strong analytical capability, with experience using data, dashboards, and reporting to drive operational decisions and performance visibility.
Knowledge of POS products and their lifecycle is an advantage.
Experience managing vendor selection through RFI / RFP processes is an advantage.
Experience in financial services, payments, or card processing environments is an advantage.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
