At New York Presbyterian PAs merge best practices with state-of-the-art treatments, as strong partners to acclaimed neurointensivists, neurosurgeons and neurologists. From our state of the art INR, surgical interventions and management of complex neurological conditions, we're on the front line of complex, rarely seen care.  

Come be a part of an expanding Neurology team where you will manage patients in our 18 bed Neuro ICU, Neurology floor and step-down units. In the Neuro ICU you will work with residents, fellows and attending physicians to care for patients with the most severe neurological illnesses ie. SAH, ICH, Stroke, Meningitis, Status Epilepticus. While on the floor, you'll cover patients with strokes, seizures, and other neurological diseases. Enhance your skills in the neurological exam and management of neurological patients.

This position will work three 12.5 hour day/night shifts per week. Rotating weekend and holiday coverage required. 

Preferred Criteria:

  • At least one year of inpatient medicine experience

  • New graduates who have completed an internal medicine, ICU and Neurology rotation are encouraged to apply

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies

  • NYS licensure

  • NCCPA certification

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
