Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting Summer Interns for our Integrated Data Analytics and Reporting (IDAR) Summer Intern Training Academy! We are recruiting for enthusiastic, curious data focused individuals to join its Clinical & Statistical Programming (C&SP) department within IDAR, located in Shanghai, China.

We are seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Summer Intern Training Academy. The Academy is a premier training program focused on developing and inspiring talent considering a career in pharmaceutical research and development. You can gain hands-on experience and help advance our medicines in development at Janssen!

·         As an intern in the C&SP department, you have the opportunity to plan, design, and develop statistical programs in support of clinical research analysis and reporting activities. How you can make a difference: Apply your knowledge of data structures and programming languages (e.g., SAS, R, and Python) to the analysis and reporting of our clinical trial data.

In this temporary experience development position, interns will gain basic knowledge of the role of Clinical & Statistical Programming in the drug development process and the related processes, concepts, techniques, and approaches adopted within this functional area. In addition, they may contribute to departmental innovation and process improvement projects or exploratory research projects relevant to the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops basic knowledge and experience of the role of Clinical & Statistical Programming in the drug development process and the related processes, concepts, techniques, and approaches adopted through training, coaching, and engaging in activities relevant to the function.

  • Under close, qualified supervision that ensures quality and compliance, may;

    • Design and develop statistical programs of low complexity in support of low-risk functional deliverables related to clinical research analysis and reporting.

    • Perform appropriate quality control and verification activities of low complexity in support of assigned clinical research analysis and reporting activities.

    • Maintain Programming documentation related to these activities.

    • Provide input into other procedural or technical documents.

    • Develop applications in R/R Shiny/Python to facilitate data visualization and review.

    • Populate a knowledge base for all enterprise applications with SME input.

    • Building automation testing scripts for the non GxP applications.

  • Performs activities in accordance with departmental processes and procedures as appropriate.

  • Ensures continued compliance with required company and departmental training, time reporting, and other business/operational processes as required relative to activities.

  • May contribute to departmental innovation and process improvement projects or exploratory research projects relevant to the function.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
