This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Operator I, Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling tasks in warehouses and distribution centers, optimizing storage and material flows, and managing inventory and shipments. You will operate equipment, requiring technical skills and adherence to procedures.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Handle manual or operational tasks within warehouses and distribution centers to ensure smooth and efficient processes
- Optimize storage space and material flows while maintaining safety and efficiency
- Operate equipment, which may require certification
- Follow established procedures with minimal decision-making authority
- Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation
- Ensure rigorous quality control and reliability in all tasks
- Complete all required training and contribute to overall compliance and continuous improvement

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Location: Onsite Fort Worth, TX
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 11:00am -8:00pm
